ウェールズのクラフトディスティラリー「In the Welsh Wind」より、パロ・コルタド樽熟成ジンが新しく仲間入りしました。
シェリーの中でも特に希少で複雑とされる「パロ・コルタド」の樽で熟成されたこのジンは、アーモンドやドライフルーツ、ウッドスパイスの豊かな余韻に、ジュニパーや柑橘のボタニカルが静かに寄り添います。
ジンでありながら、どこかウイスキーのようでもあり、食後酒のようでもある、不思議な一本。
静かな夜にゆっくり楽しみたくなるような味わいです。

We’ve recently welcomed a Palo Cortado cask-aged gin from the Welsh craft distillery In the Welsh Wind.
Rested in casks of Palo Cortado, one of the rarest and most complex styles of sherry, this gin develops rich notes of almond, dried fruit, and wood spice, layered gently over its botanical core of juniper, citrus, and warm spice.
Though unmistakably a gin, it carries something of a whisky-like depth — almost like a contemplative after-dinner drink.
A quietly complex spirit, best enjoyed slowly on a calm evening.
