グレンモーレンジィから、ハリソン・フォードと共同開発した限定ボトル「Glenmorangie Harrison Ford Limited Edition」が届きました。
バーボン樽熟成をベースに、ポルトガル産赤ワイン樽でフィニッシュ。ハリソン・フォードの「少しだけ個性がほしい」という要望に応え、上品な甘みの中に、ほのかな苦みと締まりを加えた味わいに仕上がっています（オレンジマーマレード、ハニーサックル、ほのかなレザーの余韻）。
試飲した本人のコメントは、「It’s nice. It’s very nice」といういかにも彼らしい無骨なリアクション（笑）
このボトルは、短編動画シリーズ「Once Upon a Time in Scotland」から誕生したものですが、動画ではハリソン・フォードが頑なに「グレンモーレンジィ」の発音を間違えたり、渋々キルトを着たりと、不機嫌ながらちゃめっけたっぷりの姿が存分に楽しめます。
残念ながら現時点では日本語字幕はありませんが、グレンモーレンジィ公式YouTubeにて全編公開中です。英語がわからなくても、彼の表情だけで十分楽しめます！

We’ve just gotten our hands on the Glenmorangie Harrison Ford Limited Edition, a rare collaboration between the actor and Glenmorangie’s Director of Whisky Creation, Dr. Bill Lumsden.
The bourbon-cask Glenmorangie is finished in toasted Portuguese red wine casks, and was shaped around Ford’s request for “a little more character.” The result balances Glenmorangie’s signature citrus softness with a slightly firmer, bittersweet edge of leather and oak spice, which as Harrison says, is “nice, very nice.”
The bottle celebrates Once Upon a Time in Scotland, a short film series available on Glenmorangie’s official YouTube channel featuring the actor visiting the distillery, stubbornly mispronouncing “Glenmorangie,” reluctantly donning a kilt, and generally behaving in the most archetypally Harrison Ford way possible.
Now pouring at bar miyako starting tomorrow. For this week, we’ll be open from 7pm to 1am on weekdays and from 7pm to 12am on Saturday.
