ニューヨーク・ディスティリング・カンパニーが手がける、限定リリースの一本。定番のドロシー・パーカー・ジンをベースに、ピンクと赤のバラの花びらとエルダーベリーを加えた、華やかなフレーバード・ジンです。ローズの優雅な香りがトニックと自然に溶け込み、クリーミーな余韻が広がります。
その名の由来は、アメリカの作家・詩人、ドロシー・パーカー。鋭い観察眼と辛辣なユーモアで知られ、1920年代のニューヨーク文壇を沸かせた人物です。

A limited-edition release from New York Distilling Company, this version builds on the original Dorothy Parker Gin, with pink and red rose petals and elderberries adding a floral twist. The result is an expressive rose aroma, delicate fruitiness, and a gently sweet, creamy finish.
The gin takes its name from Dorothy Parker, the celebrated American writer, poet, and critic whose razor-sharp wit and satirical observations made her a fixture of 1920s New York literary life.
Parker, incidentally, wrote a poem about receiving a single perfect rose. It ends:
Why is it no one ever sent me yet
One perfect limousine, do you suppose?
Ah no, it’s always just my luck to get
One perfect rose.
