映画『007 ダイ・アナザー・デイ』（2002年）で、ピアース・ブロスナン演じるジェームズ・ボンドが、初めて出会ったジンクスにそう勧める一杯です。
ホワイトラム、ライム、砂糖、ミント、ソーダで作る、夏を代表する爽やかなカクテル。
もっとも、原作小説でボンドが好むのはマティーニやスコッチが中心で、モヒートは映画に登場するボンドのカクテルとしては珍しく、原作には登場しません。『ダイ・アナザー・デイ』がイアン・フレミングの原作を持たないオリジナルストーリーであることを思うと、それもまた納得です。

So says Pierce Brosnan’s James Bond as he first encounters Halle Berry’s Jinx in Die Another Day (2002).
Made with white rum, lime, sugar, mint, and soda, the mojito is one of summer’s most refreshing classics.
It’s also one of the rare cocktails associated with Bond on screen that never appears in Ian Fleming’s original novels, where Bond generally sticks to martinis or scotch. Fittingly, Die Another Day is itself an original story rather than an adaptation of a Fleming novel.
