今週のご紹介は、スコットランド・スペイサイド地方の老舗蒸溜所「グレン・グラント」より、10年・12年・15年の3種。
特徴は、独自の細長い蒸留器と浄留装置から生まれる、澄んだ味わいと軽やかな飲み口。どれも穏やかで温かみのあるシングルモルトですが、熟成年数ごとに異なる個性が光ります。
たとえば、10年はリンゴや洋梨を思わせる軽快で飲みやすい一本。12年にはヘーゼルナッツや蜂蜜のようなまろやかな甘みが加わり、ほどよく複雑な味わいに。15年はトフィーやドライフルーツ、焼きリンゴなどの深みを感じるカスクストレングス仕様で、余韻までしっかり楽しめます。
寒さが深まるこの季節にぴったりの、穏やかで心あたたまるシングルモルト。

This week, we’re featuring three expressions from one of Speyside’s most storied distilleries: Glen Grant 10, 12, and 15 Year Old.
Known for its distinctive tall stills and purifiers, Glen Grant produces a uniquely crisp, light-bodied single malt. All three scotches share that signature clarity and warmth, but each one reveals its own charm with age.
The 10-Year-Old is bright and easy-drinking, with fresh notes of apple and pear. The 12-Year-Old adds a touch of richness, with soft layers of hazelnut and honey rounding out the profile. And the 15-Year-Old, bottled at cask strength, brings a deeper intensity, offering toffee, baked apple, and dried fruit with a long, warming finish.
