今週は、サントリーが手がける季（Toki）シリーズから登場した、限定ボトル「季 Black」のご紹介です。(文章、写真：JJ)
山崎・白州・知多、3つの蒸留所の原酒を組み合わせたブレンデッドウイスキーで、白州のピーテッド原酒と白州グレーンを加えることで、穏やかなスモーク感と奥行きを持たせています。
香りは焼きリンゴやスイカズラの甘やかなニュアンスに、オレガノが添える心地よいハーバルさ。
口に含むとバタースコッチの柔らかな甘みが広がり、クローブやシナモン、ラベンダー、軽くトーストしたローズマリーといった複雑なスパイス・ハーブの層が続きます。
余韻には白胡椒やジンジャー、そして静かに漂うスモーキーさが長く残り、洗練された深みを感じさせてくれます。
アルコール度数は43％、ノンエイジ仕様。
Tokiらしい軽やかさとモダンさをそのままに、より豊かな甘みとスモークのアクセントを楽しめる、都会的な一本です。

This blend brings together whiskies from Yamazaki, Hakushu, and Chita, with Hakushu peated malt and Hakushu grain adding a gentle smokiness and extra depth.
On the nose, you’ll find notes of baked apple and honeysuckle, with a light herbal touch from oregano.
The palate opens with soft butterscotch, followed by layers of clove, cinnamon, lavender, and lightly toasted rosemary.
The finish lingers with white pepper, ginger, and a quiet, refined smokiness.
Bottled at 43% ABV with no age statement, Toki Black keeps the light, modern character of the original Toki, while offering richer sweetness and a subtle smoky accent—a whisky with a distinctly urban feel.
