すでに多くの方にご愛飲いただいていますが、今週は改めて「ドラムシャンボー ガンパウダー アイリッシュ ジン」をご紹介します。
このクラフトジンは、中国の伝統茶「平水珠茶（へいすいすちゃ）」を使用しています。茶葉の見た目が火薬（ガンパウダー）の粒のように丸められていることから、英語では「ガンパウダー・ティー」とも呼ばれます。その独特なお茶の香りと、スパイスが穏やかに続く余韻が、このジンの大きな魅力です。
ジントニックはもちろん、水割りやお湯割りでも楽しめる、非常に幅広い飲み方ができる一本です。繊細で奥行きのある香りをじっくり味わいたい方にぴったりのジンと言えるでしょう。
ちなみに、ボトルに描かれているのは「ジャッカロープ」という伝説の未確認生物です。北米に生息すると言われており、人間の声を真似できるというユニークな特性を持つそうです。どう猛な性格ながら、ウイスキーが大好きで、酔わせると捕獲できるという逸話も残されています。

A Closer Look at Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin
A well-loved favorite among our guests, we’d like to take another moment to highlight Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin, a unique and beautifully crafted spirit distilled with gunpowder green tea from China.
The tea’s name comes from the way the leaves are rolled into small pellets, resembling traditional gunpowder. This gives the gin its distinct profile: a delicate tea aroma and a warm, spiced finish that lingers gently on the palate.
It pairs well with tonic, but it also works surprisingly well with just water—or even warm, as a hot gin toddy. A refined and versatile option for those who appreciate both subtlety and depth in their spirits.
The bottle also features a whimsical detail: a jackalope, the legendary horned rabbit of North American folklore. Though said to be fierce, it is also rumored to be fond of whisky, and according to myth, it can be captured by getting it drunk.
