今週はドイツの蒸留所から届いた「ジークフリート ラインラント・ドライジン」と、驚きのノンアルコール・ジン「ジークフリート ワンダーリーフ」のご紹介です。
（はい、なんと “ノンアルジン” は存在するのです！）
「ジークフリート」とは、ドイツの英雄叙事詩『ニーベルンゲンの歌』の主人公。ドラゴンを倒し、その血を浴びて不死身の身体を手に入れますが、背中に貼りついた一枚の菩提樹の葉がその場だけ守られず、最終的にその弱点を突かれて命を落とします。
この伝説にちなんで名付けられた「ジークフリート ラインラント・ドライジン」は、キーボタニカルに菩提樹の花を使用し、タイム、カルダモン、ラベンダー、ジンジャーなど18種のボタニカルが織りなす複雑で奥行きのある味わいが魅力です。#barmiyako でもファンの多い一本です。
今回はこの定番ジンに加え、日本未発売のノンアルコール版「ワンダーリーフ」を特別に入荷しました！
厳密にはアルコール度数が37.5％未満のためジンと名乗れませんが、同じ18種類のボタニカルを使い、丁寧に蒸留されたその味わいは、まさにジンと呼びたくなる完成度。お酒が飲めない方でも bar miyako でジントニックで乾杯できる、特別な一杯です。

This week’s feature comes from Germany:
Siegfried Rheinland Dry Gin and its amazing non-alcoholic sibling, Siegfried Wonderleaf.
(Yes—alcohol-free gin really exists!)
The gin is named after Siegfried, the dragon-slaying hero of the German epic The Song of the Nibelungs. After bathing in dragon’s blood, Siegfried becomes invincible—except for one spot on his back where a linden leaf stuck. That one vulnerability leads to his eventual demise.
Fittingly, linden blossom plays a key role in Siegfried Rheinland Dry Gin, which combines it with 17 other botanicals including thyme, cardamom, lavender, and ginger. The result is a beautifully layered, aromatic gin that already has many fans at #barmiyako.
Even more exciting: we’ve managed to get our hands on Siegfried Wonderleaf, the alcohol-free version that hasn’t even been released in Japan yet!
Technically it’s not a gin (since it lacks the required 37.5% ABV), but it’s crafted with the same 18 botanicals and distilled with the same care. It’s a flavorful, aromatic drink all its own—and finally, something gin lovers who don’t drink alcohol can enjoy!
